Definition of feeding in a layman's language means:To give food to.
A proper example to illustrate this is the planting of a flower. The mind is the house of thoughts while your thought is an idea or opinion produced by thinking, or occurring suddenly in the mind.
The soil here is your mind while the seed is your thought. its the richness of the soil, the watering of the plant, weeding and application of fertilizer that will determine the growth of the flower.
Therefore, it is the feeding of the mind that will determine the healthiness of your thoughts.
Proverbs 4:23 says keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
proverbs 23:7a says as he thinketh in his hearth, so is he.
- You become what you think about.
- Face value can be false value, the inside quality is what makes the outside quality.(Luke 6:45, matthew 12:34).

- PURPOSE: the purpose of the thought is what it wants to achieve
- HABIT: consistent doing of the thought to the extent of doing it without thinking because you have done it so many times
- CHARACTER: the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. Being calm, determined, optimistic, cheerful, sociable, kind, pessimistic..
Factors that affects our mind
Factors that affects our mind positively or negatively are based on our life style, our environment and mostly the people we associate with (our friends and families).
The company you keep will determine the weakness that will die in you and the strength that will live in you or the strength that will die in you and the weakness that will live in you.
Some friends have tonic effect while others have toxic effect, so your clique can take you to the peak or draw you to the pit. 1 Corinthians 15:33 quotes" Be not deceived, evil communication corrupt good manner".
What you see:-
- Our physical sight: what you read, watch, what catches your attention(books, movies, pictures, musical videos, etc)
- Our imagination: Your dream, your vision, the way you see your self, the way you see situations around you. proverbs 29:18, Genesis 13:24-15.
- Without a dream, you can't have a dream come true
- How you see what you see is the key to failure or success
- Where you live will determine how you live.
What you hear:-
Romans 10:17 says "so then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
you start believing and having faith in the words you hear constantly.
what songs do you listen to?, what do you say to yourself?, what do you say about and to your situation?, what are the words that comes out from your friends to you?, who advises you?, who is your mentor?.
What you say:-
If you can say it, you can hear it; if you can hear it, you can see it; if you can see it, you can seize it.
Your confession determines your possession. Matthew 12:37, proverbs 18:21.
Accumulation of this factors forms our mindset
WHAT IS MINDSET
Mindset is a fixed mental attitude or disposition that determines a person's response and interpretation to situations.
Our belief forms our mindset and our mindset forms our decisions and actions, above all our decisions and actions determines our destiny.
This brings us to the question:- WHO DO YOU BELIEVE IN?
We believe in GOD, we believe in the resurrection of his son our LORD Jesus Christ.
if we believe in him as stated, then the second question is -What is your relationship and fellowship with him?
It is your fellowship with him that determines your relationship with.

- your study life . Joshua 1:8, psalm 119:13
Counsel- Put GOD first in everything you do
- Never go to bed with a sin in your heart
- Make it a deal to live a heavenly conscious life
- The only way to become a better you is to review your life daily. work on yourself
