Foxconn rumored to start iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus worldwide shipment

According to a report from the Taiwanese media outlet ITHome, Foxconn has started shipping about 370,000 iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus units from its Zhengzhou Technology Park. The units are currently on their merry way to stores in the UK, The Netherlands, Italy and the US.

The report points that the 370,000 units weigh around 210 tons. Mind you, Apple has traditionally had no trouble selling north of 10 million iPhone units during opening weekend, so Foxconn is yet to ship additional tons of iPhones.
Considering the recent reports of what the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will feature, it's not too difficult to imagine they'll be selling like hot cakes.

The new A10 chipset will likely have its CPU clock set at 2.4GHz, though a lower number is not impossible to prevent heating and excessive power consumption. The iPhone 7 will keep RAM at 2GB, but the iPhone 7 Plus will pack 3GB to handle the processing for the dual camera.
Additionally, there'll be a pressure sensitive home button enabling IPx7 certification allowing the iPhone 7 to survive for up to half an hour up to a meter underwater.

The big unveil is tomorrow, so make sure to stick around to find out everything about Apple's two new smartphones.
